Located in the heart of the Financial District in downtown Manhattan , the Law Office of Thomas A. Tormey Jr. is easily accessible by public and private transportation.
Public Transportation: Mr. Tormey’s office is conveniently located on Broadway just two short blocks north of Wall Street. 140 Broadway is the architecturally significant building with the original sculpture “Red Cube” by the artist, Isamu Noguchi, located in front of the building between Liberty and Cedar Streets. Visitors can take the Number 4 or 5 subway to the Wall Street Station, exit the station and walk north to Cedar Street. Visitors can also take the Number 1 or 9 Subway to Rector Street, exit at the rear of the train and walk two blocks east to Broadway. In addition to the 1 and 9 to Rector Street, visitors can also take the R train to Whitehall Station, then follow the directions listed below from the ferry .
Clients coming from Staten Island can take the Staten Island Ferry and walk along the beautiful Battery Park to the base of Broadway at Bowling Green. From there it is a mere few blocks up beautiful Broadway, two blocks past world famous Wall Street where they will see the building with its famous “Red Cube” sculpture in front. Private Transportation: From Staten Island, Brooklyn and Points South: Take the Gowanus Expressway to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. Stay in the right lane of the tunnel and once in Manhattan, take the first exit on the right and enter the Battery Park Garage which will be visible immediately as you exit the tunnel. After parking your car, walk two blocks to Broadway. From there walk a short distance north where you will see 140 Broadway with its famous “Red Cube” out in front.
From New Jersey and Points North: Take either the Lincoln Tunnel, the Holland Tunnel or the George Washington Bridge to the West Side Highway. Follow the West Side Highway, south, to the end where it meets the water and Battery Park. There are many reasonably priced parking garages where you can park your car. Walk three blocks east to Broadway then a few short blocks north. |
